It is scary to lose the anonymity – I struggled with it myself at first! I’m happy you did though, Cynthia! I hope you have a wonderful New Year and I can’t wait to check out some of your favorite blogs this month!

Aw, I’m glad I’m not the only one! But so glad to have gotten to know you, too. (So it’s only fair to trade, after all!) I hope you’ve had a wonderful start to your new year, too, Cate!

Of course! I actually have to thank you for getting me back into design/lifestyle blogs again, I’d been really lagging in that department lately. So much inspiration on your site. :) Happy new year to you, Jessica, and thanks for making the end of 2013 just that much more fun!!

Yay Cynthia!! Peeling away the layers of anonymity can be such a scary thing in a space as vast as the blogosphere. Although my name was always out there, it took me SUCH a long time to truly become comfortable with presenting the world with my real voice. But I’m so glad I did. And I’m so glad you did! And thanks for the awesome shout-out. (: Happy New Year!

What you just said is so true — it’s not just the name that’s hard to reveal/commit to, but being authentic to the person behind the name. And that’s a journey I’m still undertaking, to be sure! But getting to know people like you lets me know that it’s totally worth it. Thank you so much for your endless inspiration, Carey! Happy New Year to you too!

Cynthia! What an honour to be featured on your blog. Your writing and photography inspires me everyday! I am so glad that our paths have crossed, lovely lady – here’s to another year of beautiful imagery and satisfied bellies. All that matters in life, really! 😉

Wow, Cynthia – when we “met” on Instagram earlier today, and I saw your blog, I had NO IDEA it was only a few months old! As a new blogger I find yours to be extremely inspiring – I also work full-time and one of my New Year’s resolutions is to keep up with MY “baby blog.” Here’s to both of us trying to keep up with this amazing blog world that exists for people like us to marvel at – and I will be adding your site to my bloglovin’ feed and “link love” page! good luck :-) xoxo, Sara

Sara, that is so very kind and touching of you to write! You’ve made my day — here’s to hoping that we both keep up our resolutions, and I’m so happy to have “met” you so that we can do it together!! (Also, what a unique blog idea and such talent!!! I’m excited to keep following you!)

So of all the link round ups that bloggers do, I love yours the most because you just have such GOOD TASTE. Or at least good taste in my opinion lol. Every time I think, ‘man those were all so good, how can she keep this up?’ you find 6 more beautiful blogs!! Also I love that you post inspiring images as well. Great inspiration for when I someday will spend more time composing my shots!

Maybe my subconscious is anxious about you having to continually find awesome new blogs for this series…but in any case, here’s another that I think you might like :) http://www.onebitemore.com/ Maybe a little bit brighter than some of the linked ones here, but I really love her!

Hahaha Erika you are SO cute and sweet! You crack me up. It’s incredible how the wealth of beautiful photography and inspiration out there is just neverending, isn’t it? Each month I also find that I’m also very slow to find some major rockstars, so there’s also that. I’m glad we share the same tastes 😉 not to mention that two of these blogs were on your recommendation! (Speaking of which, this rec is fantastic too!!!! I’m always down for brighter blogs, I gravitate towards the dark and moody, needless to say.) Anytime you feel like rec’ing a blog I am all ears girl. Thanks to your anxious subconscious (I lol’ed when I read that) for looking out for me! <3
